I drove 45 minutes to come get some Dave's and was deeply disappointed. The line was almost to the door with the entire restaurant packed. On top of that, there were only two workers upfront, one of which was stressed out and being extremely rude. The food was 16 dollars for two chicken tenders, 4 pickle slices, two raw pieces of white bread, and a small boat of fries. The combo that I paid 16 dollars for did not come with a drink. Ehhhhh. Got the 2 tender meal & it tasted like it was COATED in paprika. Hot & fries were okay. Sauce very mayo based. Just okay. Wouldn't go back.

Over cooked and very dry chicken no real flavor over than dry spice in oil. I wouldn't waste your time for all the hype it's underwhelming to say the least.

The food was nasty the only good thing about it was the coleslaw, the chicken has no flavor and the only thing saving the chicken was the ketchup this restaurant is over hyped save your money.

I have never tasted reddish brown before, but now I can check that one off the list. Tasted like they went to the spice drawer and dumped everything red or brown in the bowl, so much so the flavors didn't meld or speak to each other at all. I understand Dave's chicken is out of California, would not have guessed that in a million years. David must have never had any black or Mexican friends. Was definitely a valley boy. I have been anxiously waiting to try this place out. I was in the area around lunchtime and decided to give it a try. The first thing I noticed is it was kinda pricey. But I thought well that's okay if it's really good!! IMO, it wasn't. First, it appears breaded and fried. That's good!! NOT. It was so over sauced that the breading was mushy. I drove all the way from Benton this past Saturday to try this food and was very disappointed. It was super packed and before I could even look at the menu I was informed that it was going to be an Hour wait for any food that they had to offer! The place was super packed but didn't really see anyone eating, needless to say I never got any chicken or anything! I just hate I wasted gas and time driving up just to be turned away and at the end of it I had to drive home hungry!
