This was my first time ever at a Dave's Hot Chicken. Gotta say, it didn't disappoint! I got the 2 tenders and fries meal and it was great! For the tenders, I got a mild spice level and it still had a decent amount of kick for me (still tolerable). The quality of the chicken was decent and the breading wasn't overly heavy. It was really good! The fries were also great and had some nice seasoning to them. It also came with two slices of bread, which were alright. Fried chicken was just okay. Came 5 minutes before closing and still had a long line. Waited about 30 minutes. Probably wouldn't come back just for the chicken.

I got the Dave's #1: 2 Tenders w/ Fries. One tender was mild, the other was medium (you can choose from no spice to reaper... which comes with a disclaimer). Both tenders each sit on a slice of bread with a stack of pickle slices in the corner of my to-go container. The tenders were really good & the combo left me full. Both tenders were well seasoned, very well seasoned, the way I like it. They were big pieces & I dipped 'em in the Dave's sauce here & there. Overhyped? I don't think it was. Pricey for what it is...probably. I picked up a #2 (2 sliders with fries) and a side of mac&cheese and it came to $23.00. I like spicy but I'm also not trying to be sitting out on a Friday due to....you get the point. I went with 1 hot and 1 extra hot. They are topped with a kale slaw, Dave's sauce (which is a sweeter version of Slims/Zax/Canes chicken dipping sauce, its not heavy on the Worcestershire either) and of course Pickles (you can add cheese for $0.50 more per slider.) Don't get me wrong. I love Dave's Hot Chicken, but it did not live up to the hype the buns and everything weren't toasted, but overall the experience the place was nice. The chicken had better. Ggs

Something about over paying for a cold bun! I thought it would be special and it was over 35 bucks for 2 meals drinks are extra and not included in the meal. Very mediocre. But we also have wolf gang chicken wolf gang wolf gang is a lot better imo

The food is is great the ice machine is not working so the drinks are hot and the music is super loud or you have to yell at your person sitting across from you and the employees are not friendly at all this is my experience with my family
