The chicken lives up to its hype for me! The girl at the register was super friendly and helpful with educating us on the spice. We did Medium on one and mild on another, which is a good way to try their hotness levels! The slaw was perfectly creamy to offset the spice and pickles were huge. Fries were good but we could have shared some because the meals are large portions. Chicken had dry rub and was very juicy. Couldn't love it anymore! Glad we tried!

This was my first time ever at a Dave's Hot Chicken. Gotta say, it didn't disappoint! I got the 2 tenders and fries meal and it was great! For the tenders, I got a mild spice level and it still had a decent amount of kick for me (still tolerable). The quality of the chicken was decent and the breading wasn't overly heavy. It was really good! The fries were also great and had some nice seasoning to them. It also came with two slices of bread, which were alright. Fried chicken was just okay. Came 5 minutes before closing and still had a long line. Waited about 30 minutes. Probably wouldn't come back just for the chicken.

I got the Dave's #1: 2 Tenders w/ Fries. One tender was mild, the other was medium (you can choose from no spice to reaper... which comes with a disclaimer). Both tenders each sit on a slice of bread with a stack of pickle slices in the corner of my to-go container. The tenders were really good & the combo left me full. Both tenders were well seasoned, very well seasoned, the way I like it. They were big pieces & I dipped 'em in the Dave's sauce here & there. Overhyped? I don't think it was. Pricey for what it is...probably. I picked up a #2 (2 sliders with fries) and a side of mac&cheese and it came to $23.00. I like spicy but I'm also not trying to be sitting out on a Friday due to....you get the point. I went with 1 hot and 1 extra hot. They are topped with a kale slaw, Dave's sauce (which is a sweeter version of Slims/Zax/Canes chicken dipping sauce, its not heavy on the Worcestershire either) and of course Pickles (you can add cheese for $0.50 more per slider.) Don't get me wrong. I love Dave's Hot Chicken, but it did not live up to the hype the buns and everything weren't toasted, but overall the experience the place was nice. The chicken had better. Ggs

Slow. Waited over 20 minutes for an order of mozzarella sticks. Won't be back. Also paid more for said mozzarella sticks than if I had gone to a fancy restaurant and had an entire appetizer. Disappointed with my first experience...,and last.

I had been craving some of Dave's Hot Chicken for a while as there isn't one close to where I live, so I had the chance today to get some while in Tulsa. I got to the store about 12:45 and they had a few people in line about half the tables inside were full and just one or two tables outside were taken. I got in line and the line was moving pretty slowly. From what I could see the slowness was due to someone in the kitchen shouting orders to the cashier, through the service window. Had two sliders and two stripes. Chicken not great. Poor quality but covered up with spices. The pickle is the only crunch... got here quick. Very disappointing don't believe the hype..
