Went to Disneyland as a kid and this past weekend I got to share the same experience with my daughter. I love how Disney can perfectly balance nostalgia and also incorporate a lot of new attractions to the park making it perfect for all ages to enjoy. It's crazy to think they have thousands and thousands of guests per day but find a way to make it a one of kind experience for you and your loved ones. I'm gonna make it a habit to come once a year in hopes that my daughter can have the same affinity for Disney as much as her... read more
I've been to Walt Disney World countless times, but when it comes to my Disney Parks scope, it ended there. It's not that I never wanted to visit the other parks, it was more the circumstances never found me in a position to go. That all changed during my most recent trip to California; I was staying in Orange County with Disneyland Resort a short drive away. That being said, I made plans to visit during one of my days out there. DLR is made up of two parks, a couple of hotels, and the Downtown Disney area, however this rev... read more
I've only been to Disneyland twice and both times were incredibly magical. I mean, just like Disneyland it's the happiest place on earth. I never went to Disneyland as a child but both times as an adult. Remember, Disney is for kids of all ages. A smaller version of Disney World with still lots of fun things to do and see. I'm a strong believer than everyone should visit a Disney park at least once in their lives. Absolutely nothing but love.
First off, I feel like a dirtbag giving 4 stars. The park is pretty good, but I think that people need to realize that you are paying for the nostalgia and the name as much as for the rides. To begin, I went with a group of 9 - 4 adults and 5 kids (8y, 6y, 5y, 2y, 1mo). Of course, with younger kids there is going to be plenty that you cannot go on with them and so someone has to sit out. The wife and I got the 2 park pass so on day 1 we went to DL and then on day two we went to DCA+DL. The first thing I want to say is that... read more
Disneyland is 100% worth it. The park is beautiful, the rides are amazing, and the whole experience really does feel magical from start to finish. Yes, it's expensive--tickets, food, everything adds up--but honestly, you get what you pay for. The quality, the service, and the attention to detail make it feel like your money is going toward a really memorable experience. If you're thinking about going, just budget ahead and enjoy it. It's one of those places that lives up to the hype.
It's Disneyland there's nothing else to say best place in the world lol me and my wife and my daughter have season passes. Always fun to come here every other week. Only thing against this place is there handicap services for my daughter. She has special needs yet I cannot get her access to the front. She has a tracheostomy in her throat and G tube in her stomach. I cannot stand long time in lines without having to suction her throat and flush her stomach
We love Disneyland , such a happy fun place to make memories with your family and friends
I'm rating five stars simply because it's Disneyland! Nothing else compares, and the food, fun, shows, and rides are all fantastic. On the other hand ... a lot of the cast members are kinda ... mean? Rude? These days. I'm pretty new to traveling with a stroller, and I can't tell you how many cast members have snapped at me for bringing my stroller somewhere I would need a disability tag, putting my stroller facing the wrong direction in the stroller parking, etc. etc. etc. I really want to follow the rules, but said rules a... read more
Disneyland really is the happiest place on earth, especially for a birthday. We did three days over Memorial Day weekend for my son's birthday. Because of the holiday weekend, it was extra busy, but we used Lightning Lane which helped a lot. Interestingly, Monday seemed a little less crowded, which made it much easier to hop on more rides without waiting a long time.We always have the best time together, and watching my sons face light up makes it worth every penny. ... read more
