For the most part, the food here is good BUT there can be some dishes that can be skipped. One food item that I will NEVER skip is the Beef Birria Toasted Cheese from Jolly Holiday. It is my favorite Disney food and it's only here for select months of the year!! The Spinach and Artichoke Grilled Cheese was a special menu item for the Food & Wine Festival. It looked promising, but it is most definitely a pass. The Tropical Slush from Bengal Barbecue was extremely refreshing but gets very sweet after a few sips.
It's been many years since I've been to Disney at Anaheim. Given that I've just been to Disney in Tokyo, now was the time to visit Disney closer to home!!! I was able to get discounted tickets through my dad through the navy base. I also upgraded the tickets to a fast pass to help save on some time. Luckily, my kids have been to Anaheim and were very strategic with our visit. We were able to hit 11 rides in one day and eat multiple Disney food treats during the day! Obviously, if you came here growing up, you always have some mystical magical. Wonder that comes with it. I love coming here. I can't stop coming here. I go to the Orlando one. Obviously the only downfall is just how incredibly expensive it is but pasta it all was been such a beautiful time for me and my family for me or my friends if they lowered the price even just smidge I think you would be super helpful for everyone and it would make it much more enjoyable time for everyone. We were here on Monday May the 4th 2026! We had a great time here, we love how Disney decided to bring the original characters from Star Wars here!! Also, I love the fact they have different characters throughout the different sections of Star Wars Galaxy Edge too. I mean what's not to love about such an amazingly magical place like Disneyland! If you're a fan of Disney, this park offers a great immersive experience where you can enjoy some of your favorite franchises through rides, merchandise, character interactions, and more. My biggest issue with Disneyland since the implementation of their reservation system is the crowds. Love love loved it I've been coming here since I was 5 and I am a now proud disney adult when I can find the time with my schedule to go! They now have lightening lanes which are like fast passes but better so we were using those like crazy. They were also having a special star wars themed night and keeping the park open until 1 am if you bought an extra pass so we got bracelets and lanyards and that was so cool to see there were no lines! I went to Disney once as a kid, a couple times in college, and once for a work event. I hadn't been in many years and I didn't understand the adult obsession with Disney. Well, I went 3 times with my two kids and spouse less than a month ago and it was honestly a lot of fun. My kids thoroughly enjoyed it and it was emotional at times seeing them so happy and excited. The crowding despite these harsh economic times is still astonishing after around 10am. Anyway, my favorite Disneyland rides and food were Big thunder mountain railroad, rise of the resistance, many adventures of winnie the pooh, the railroad, mickey & minney railway, snow white, it's a small world, matterhorn, pinochio, space mountain, mr. toad, pirates of the caribbean, the white ship multi level gentle cruise ride, and Indiana jones!
