This last visit was the follow up to my second cataract surgery and all went extremely well.
He explains things well. He really cares about your healing. Easy to talk to.
As a doctor I loved him, but I’ve tried for a year, off and on, to contact him to set up eye surgery and no one ever answers the phone and there is no way to leave a message. Very frustrating and disappointing. Looking for another doctor now.

I got a same-day appointment with Dr. Amsterdam for an issue for which I was going to have to wait four months at Sabates. He enlightened me about my accompanying issues and how I could learn to manage my eye issue in the context of my other problems. I really appreciated how he took 'all of me' into account, giving me a solid plan of action.
He was professional and explained the cataract surgery we were talking about.
