Dr Toone was fantastic. Put me at ease for my first lumbar injection and whole procedure was virtually painless and quick. I had the utmost confidence and respect.
The genuine concern and kindness was refreshing. Dr. Williams-Toone listened, examined, thoroughly explained treatment options that could be better suited for me and then shared recommendations. I felt heard and included in the treatment decisions made. I also appreciated the suggested activities that were best suited for my limitations and the encouragement to be as active as my challenges would permit, with treatment, for best long term success. This Dr. is most knowledgeable, I know that I am in good hands.
Dr. Toone's easy manner and willingness to engage. Also her easy and convivial manner with her staff was commendable. It really set me at ease. She also was very meticulous in her inspection of my back and decision of where to put the injection with the help of her x-ray machine. A very satisfactory visit with this new physician for me. I was with my old pain management Dr for almost 8 years. So I was very worried when she left the practice.I am Extremely happy with Dr Toone. She took the time out to explain Complex Regional Pain Syndrome. Dr Toone also listened to what I had to say and my concerns. I love that she doesn’t try to over medicate. She listened to me when I felt I was on medication that didn’t work for me and we came up with a plan TOGETHER . Dr Toone is a Dr that I would recommend to my own family.
Dr Toone is very knowledgeable. She listens to one’s issues and asks pertinent questions then offers solutions. I’m very glad to have been referred to her.
My new doctor Dr. Toone was very attentive in our meeting and heard all of my concerns and also addressed some concerns as well for me to bring to my primary care physician to take a look at something that was found on an xray imaging in the hopes to find a remedy to improve my health, that said anyone looking for a good Orthopedic doctor, Emerge Orthopedic is the place to go to for sure I highly recommend this place and my new Doctor as well.
She talked with me compassionately as I had never been for a epidural shot in my back before. She asked me if I was still having pain in my legs. When I told her that pain had gone away, but the crushed L4 pain was still there, she explained I didn’t need this ordered epidural as it only helped with the pinched nerve pain so we decided not to go forward since I had no pain down the legs.
