Del Val has been our pediatrician since my daughter's birth 14yrs ago, despite the 35-minute drive to reach the clinic. Recently, my daughter experienced abdominal pain, leading to an ultrasound to investigate possible ovarian cysts. Upon receiving a message from a nurse stating the ultrasound showed no cysts, there was no further communication from the practice regarding my daughter's pain. Fortunately, the pain subsided on its own. However, when the bill arrived 3 MONTHS later, I called to settle it and expressed my dissat... read more
I learned about Mrs. Susan Ryan trading Services from a neighbor who highly recommended her. She provided us with best and accurate trading service and I am beyond impressed with the results. The customer service was amazing and she went above and beyond for us. The results looked better than i ever expected. We will absolutely be using her again. We really appreciate her for earning $10,050 as weekly profit return for us from an investment of $1000 within a space of 1 weeks and We would highly recommend her to anyone looki... read more
I have real issues with two of the male doctors in the current practice. I think one completely mishandled the situation and I think another one did not do everything he should have done. Have real proof that the chart was not updated with my concerns. I have been taking my 3 children here for 15 years and I am sad and frustrated and extremely disappointed. I would not recommend this practice anymore.
Today Nurse Tracy lowered her mask, put her finger on my son’s face and angrily yelled at him: don’t you dare kick! Today, 12/19/21, was supposed to be my son’s first COVID dose. I prepared him for the event knowing how scared he is of syringes, but he cried and was scared when we got to the doctors office anyways. He is attempting to take of his jacket and before I landed a hand, the mad nurse said while pulling his zipper down: this is a jacket and not a sweater! You need to pull down the zipper. I thought she was ru... read more
Business response:
Hi Jaqueline, I’m sorry to hear that your experience in our office the other day was so upsetting. As pediatric health professionals, and parents ourselves, we know that getting a shot can be very scary for a child. It’s precisely for this reason that our providers and nurses give such specific instructions with regard to calming your child down and holding them in a way that prevents them unintentionally (or intentionally) hurting either themselves, the parent, or the nurse giving the injection. With regard to the incident... read more
Watch out for additional Saturday fees! When you call to make an appointment, they offer Saturdays but NEVER tell you that it will be extra!
Business response:
Hi Nancy! I’m sorry to hear you were caught off guard by the Saturday fee. That’s actually something required by certain insurance companies (much like a copay) if your child is seen during a weekend or after hours. We include that information in our financial policy: https://img1.wsimg.com/blobby/go/2363cbb5-46af-4d4c-bcc9-cbb14cddad12/downloads/1c3gbfgnr_863920.pdf
They would be a 0 if that was an option. My child had more than just a common cold and I know because I'm a mother of 4. I called the office to schedule a sick visit. They told me it wasn't necessary to come in unless they had a fever of 100.4 or more. I now have a 6 week old daughter in the hospital with rhinovirus, enterovirus and rsv with the possibility of turning into pneumonia.
Business response:
Amy, I’m so sorry to hear about your daughter! Our phone nurses adhere to certain protocol when determining whether a patient should be seen in our office. In the case of young babies in particular, it is sometimes better to avoid an office visit when possible, as it can expose the infant to additional illnesses (especially during cold and flu season). However, if your intuition told you that your daughter needed to be seen by one of our providers, and you were told not to come in despite asking to have her seen, then that i... read more
