Desert Hope is great facility for medical detox and inpatient treatment. The groups are facilitated by great therapists who have alot of knowledge of addiction. I do wish there was more 1 on 1 sessions though.
My daughter was a patient at desert hope. I was very thankful for the therapists at the facility because they were a huge help for my daughter while she was there. I am grateful to desert hope for helping my daughter and my family at a difficult time in our lives.
I really enjoyed my stay at Desert Hope. The groups were very helpful and informative. I have been able to utilize the many things I was taught while in treatment and it has helped me in my day life since returning home.
When I came to Desert Hope I thought my day would consist of groups all day and then going to bed. I was pleasantly surprised to see that there were many after group activities that I could partake in. Aside from AA and nightly meetings, there was also yoga, a basketball court, a volleyball court, and sometimes even karaoke. Overall I had a great experience.
Desert Hope has a great program that really taught me alot about my addiction and how to cope with triggers that come up in my life. They do make you turn your phone in and other electronics for a black out period of 5 days. I was mad at first but now looking back that time allowed me to focus on myself.
I came to Desert Hope very scared and nervous to start my sobriety journey. Everyone there, patients and staff, helped me to feel very comfortable and heard throughout my stay. I would not have been able to do it without the help of Desert Hope!
I really enjoyed my stay at Desert Hope. Everyone at the facility was extremely kind and caring. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. Every staff member that I interacted with was extremely kind and professional.
I am a first responder and am in the salute to recovery program at Desert Hope. I have been to many different treatment centers but none of them have offered help for dual diagnosis. I feel safe and can relate to my counselor. I have learned alot here and am grateful beyond words for what desert Hope has done for me.
Desert Hope has the best nursing staff in any treatment center I have been to. They are all professional and strive to make sure we are comfofable throughout our stay and that we feel safe.
