Food is bomb. Housekeeping is wonderful, the tools they give you to use on the outside world, positive energy and the facilitators. More calcium fortified food and real sugar I recieved a very warm welcome the staff are very thoughtful, respectful and have a happy vibe and it helped me have a happy and positive attitude.
The crisis team helped me make better choices when I thought I wanted to leave. Comfortable detox and they make it fun to learn about recovery.
The management and BHTs are awesome. The classes are great for assisting in dealing with coping skills. I don't know, everything has been great. The classes are phenomenal, the detox is comfortable and the staff are very helpful and make you feel like you're not battling your addiction alone.

Good food, kindness staff that actually care, the volleyball court is great, nursing staff is excellent, BHT Staff is amazing. Nothing at this time Since I've gotten here I have found my Higher power, I have learned about my addiction and learned how to put AA first in my life. I look forward to getting a sponsor and look forward to giving back all because of this place.

The groups were definitely a plus and the staff is friendly. Wait time for case managers I didn't think I needed treatment but then after listening to other peoples stories, especially the BHTs it made see that I did need help and they guided me through it. I was unsure about the IOP program because of stories I heard, but now realize that in order to stay clean and sober in any environment you have to want to. Activities certain groups Jon T. and my therapist Aishia have great groups. Cleanliness. Change up the schedules a little on the weekends. It is comfortable, it is very helpful and fun. But most of all I feel like I got what I needed from Desert Hope.
