After reviewing Pediatric reviews, I called Dr. Langhorne's office to schedule an appt. She was booked up and my toddler was choking on her cough. They recommended the Urgent Care in the same building (which also takes Medi-Cal). We took her down there. Horrible experience . I had labs sent out for screening, and not only did the nurse on staff put the wrong ordering code (not paying attention to details) , but it was hell trying to get a hold of any nurse on duty . I had to call the lab myself just to find out what was going, and then inform Borrego of their error. I ended up having to relay messages to the OPERATOR'S, who don't know what they are talking about half the time. This is upmost the worst place to ever go if you have any medical needs. Bad situation. First I would like to say I was a patient of Borrego health for years in Oasis.They were beyond awesome. Then I moved and transferred to this place. I began getting very sick Headache , congestion etc. The new Dr wouldn't see me for 3 weeks so I went to their urgent care. There was a wait but it wasn't bad and when I went in I was asked what my meds were. I have 4 so I told her what they were. you are getting Dr. Eric Shigeno from DAP. i wish you all the best. unfortunately he's an angry man and does not leave it at the door when working with patients. he always calls the patients "Sir". i think it's because he doesn't want to bother learning their names. he expresses a palpable dislike for some patients. ask anyone at DAP. if they didn't have first hand knowledge like i do, they know someone who has experienced it. he CAN be nice, as he was with my 3rd visit with him, but the angry doctor cam back for the ... read more
Got charged 150 for just advise didn't want to prescribe me anything I had a high fever severe headache and I could hardly walk for 3 days I was out of work
