RecommendedThis place far exceeded our expectations! Our kids absolutely loved it and were sad to leave. So much for the littles ones to explore and do. Gemstone Village was amazing, as was the unique playground. Even having the lawn games close to the dump station was great because it gave the kids something to do while we took care of RV. RecommendedLove, love , love…. Great, clean & wonderful place to camp & enjoy all of what this place has to offer!!! It’s dog friendly & that’s a plus… my family & I enjoyed it.. it’s close to shopping & restaurants if needed.. We tried & enjoyed the freshly baked blueberry muffins too!! Highly recommend & we’ll be back!!!!
RecommendedWe had a great experience camping in the campground. It was clean, quiet and relaxing. We went to the exhibits before leaving town and that was better than expected! Lots of information provided on the new signs installed throughout. We recommend both the campground and the dunes!
Recommendedvery easy to find, we were warmly welcomed despite being incredibly late and arriving after 10pm. Facilities are amazing; better than any other campsite we've gone to!
RecommendedThis is a fun trip for a large group of kids they can run free and enjoy looking for stones by the play area ! It’s a decent walk and you could potentially walk it more then once and enjoy the sand . The playground is a great concept but my 3 year old got up there and wouldn’t move he was so freaked out 😭 bring lunch & plenty of water ! Also a camera! Nice place for photos! They have some new things coming next year so we will definitely return!

RecommendedMy fiancé and I both recalled coming as children and it being fun, but the current owners have upgraded it to make it a more thorough experience! Our girls absolutely loved some of the whimsical playhouses and swingset as built throughout the loop path! The owners greeted us with a warm welcome and gave us the history of the desert that had even our youngest focused. Definitely recommend bringing the family!

RecommendedThis was a wonderful adventure for my family. The playground was spectacular, the small gift shop was well organized with unique gifts. The history was well told by documentary markings as we walked a long. The dunes were neat to explore, trails were fun to walk. Bathrooms were clean. We went when the temperature was 70 degrees with low humidity and partly cloudy skies on purpose so we would not overheat. The price was worth it as we stayed all afternoon, 4 hours or so.
