I know Vets have lives and can’t be on call 24/7 as much as they’d like, but this place is a JOKE! Or maybe i just got them on a bad day, idk.... but my puppy got attacked by another dog and this was the closest place to us so we called them franticly, telling them the situation and the receptionist who i spoke to was VERY uncompassionate telling me they aren’t excepting new patients. I think that the vets are good at the location but the management, reception, prices and appointment options are kind of terrible. I've had my dogs taken care of here for about 3 years. However, I feel as though they are ALWAYS overbooked and I can never get an appointment in a timely manner. They always send me reminders to have my pets checked on but there are never appointments within a 3 week time frame. Not to mention when my dogs have had problems, I can never get an appointment for the problem to be taken care of.... read more
They shouldn't even get one star. STAY AWAY FROM THIS VET! They lied to a friend... which resulted in her puppy dying (IN THEIR "CARE") and they quoted me 5x the normal amount for a service because they are only money hungry. Terrible service, terrible vets, and unprofessional in every aspect of the term. STAY AWAY.
I would NEVER bring a pet to Desert Vet for anything ever again after the last visit for my cat Rusty. The quality of care is only fair, and the price is WAY too high. I have another local vet I am perfectly satisfied with who provides excellent care at an affordable price. PH
