He always gives me all the time I need and he answers my questions in a way that I can understand. I totally trust him with my eyes.
Dr. Pate spent a good amount of time with me, despite it being the end of the day. I wasn’t rushed, his examination was thorough, as was his explanations. He made sure I understood everything and gave me ALL of my options. I feel very confident in his handling my vision needs in the future.
I come here every year for my visual exam. I had really really bad vision and finally had to have cataract. Surgery went well. My anxiety was sky high, but it went well. Second eye no anxiety. I have worn glasses for over 60 years I no longer have to wear glasses on. I trust this doctor with my eyesight, which is very very important to me. He also does the Itex because I’m on certain medication’s for lupus that eyes have to be monitored and he’s probably been doing them for the last five years never have. Dr. Pate patiently explained everything I needed to know, gave me a comprehensive list of options to think about, and provided me with his email address so I could ask questions later if I needed to. Rarely have I met a more friendly, thoughtful, and knowledgeable medical professional.

I've been seeing Dr. Pate since 2005. He is the best! He listens to my concerns and always explains what options are there for any issues I may have. He always has a smile and really cares.
Dr. Pâtés always takes time to answer questions and to explain each test, results and impact on my vision. He always stresses the importance of taking my eye meds correctly and consistently. Then ensures that my questions are answered and I have an understanding of his response.
