About Dogwood Canyon Nature Park "Promote and protect the natural environment of the canyon’s wildlife and plant life." Aside from a few amenities to make Dogwood Canyon Nature Park more accessible to our guests, the rugged landscape has been left untouched and, with just a little imagination, you can travel back to a time when European settlers first entered the area or, even further, to explore the mark that Native Americans left on these Missouri hills and hollows. The first parcels of the property were acquired in 199... read more

It was our first time to Dogwood Canyon. We enjoyed everything about it. We learned a lot on the tram ride from Ian, our guide. He was very passionate about the park and the animals. He worked very hard to make sure we all had a fun time.
Amazing trails and waterfalls! A must see in the Ozarks!!
Our first trip to Dogwood Canyon. Absolutely gorgeous. Our tram guide Ian was just wonderful. Knowledgeable, fun, gracious and fun. Would go back in a heart beat. Staff was fabulous Thanks so much, Dave and Denise Pack Henley mo

Glad we found out about Dogwood Canyon! Beautiful!!! Will be a to-go place for us next time here! Our team guide Ian was very knowledgeable and a great guide!!
The staff (April, Andres) at the horse barn truly want to make the horse back riding experience one you will never forget. We enjoyed our ride through the beautiful canyons and creeks on Sunday, October 20th. The horses are well cared for and that just warms my heart. Thank you Major and Ruger for our memorable ride.
The views, the tours, the food, the history. Love it all! Great activities for families.
We spent Sat. Oct 19th at Dogwood canyon. Hiked 8 miles majority of the hike is asphalt. $18 a person to hike. A bit touristy for me, we went the next day to hike Busiek State park we really enjoyed this gem of a park!!! Very rustic, beautiful spring and hiking dirt trails were great. For the city people who enjoy a tourist trap go to Dogwood the waterfalls are pretty but if you prefer real nature stop by a state park
