About Dogwood Canyon Nature Park "Promote and protect the natural environment of the canyon’s wildlife and plant life." Aside from a few amenities to make Dogwood Canyon Nature Park more accessible to our guests, the rugged landscape has been left untouched and, with just a little imagination, you can travel back to a time when European settlers first entered the area or, even further, to explore the mark that Native Americans left on these Missouri hills and hollows. Beautiful area! Tram ride is great fun. Our driver James was terrific!
Me and my husband spent our honeymoon here it was beautiful and relaxing for a long walk prepare yourself with lots of water and good walking shoes it’s about a four hour walk also has the ability to let you rent a ride with a tour guide or a bike rental as well. Enjoy beautiful breathtaking waterfalls and wildlife along with various species of plants and flowers throughout. Fun for the whole family!
Beautiful “park” to spend the day hiking, biking, fishing, Segway, or taking a 2 hour tram ride. James was our guide and kept us entertained the entire 2 hours. Even made sure to stop for pictures if we were on the other side of the tram so nobody missed any photo opportunities. Absolutely take your camera. This place is gorgeous. Recommend making reservations online day or two before you go for the tram ride, it’s usually sold out. Restaurant on premises reasonably priced and food is excellent.
