Cannot say enough good things about Dr.Ashton Moss. He performed a lumpectomy on my senior that was very difficult due to its location as well as a dental extraction and was extremely transparent about the entire process. He followed up with us days after the procedure and provided follow up appointments free of charge to make sure everything was healing properly. I AM NEEDY. I drive an hour just to have my dogs seen by Dr Moss! Dr. Moss and the rest of the DVVH staff have been nothing short of FANTASTIC every single time I go! Dr Moss is always kind and friendly, and always takes the time to make sure my two dogs are properly cared for. He also takes the time to explains things to me clearly and to make sure I am set up for success with my dogs, which is always very much appreciated. I have been using Dominion Valley Animal Hospital in Haymarket ever since the clinic was opened. My entire experience has been excellent. Excellent emergency care of my dog. I gave them 4 stars as they take your credit card information over the phone. I have had credit card fraud in the past and didn't wish to give it to them. I understand while Covid times that they don't want clients in their office so credit card can be scanned. I suggest a credit card device to take to the pet owners car. I'm sure that it was safe...but I did the one time I gave my CC# over the phone. Again, excellent care of my dog. Thank you!
My husband and I wanted to give a super big thank you to your tech, Jess. We had our mastiff, Orso, in this morning for an ear check. He's a little head wary and Jess knew exactly how to be with him to make him comfortable and trust her and within minutes he was laying down and allowing her to dig way deep in his ear to clean with gauze and also inject an Octopack in each ear. This place was awesome. We were on vacation from Florida and forgot our heart worm medication so we made an appointment. They got is in the same day we called. We also noticed a change in one of our dogs eye and asked the vet to take a look at it. She was very concerned by what she saw and got us an emergency appointment with a veterinary ophthalmologist. I would highly recommend this practice
Great staff. Kind, considerate and thorough. They give you an estimate before treatment, explain what's going on and always call to follow up. I know my dog is in goods hands with the team at Dominion Valley
