I took a tour of the facility for my loved one and was very impressed with the staff and the feeling of dedicated love and companionship with the residents there it is a great comfort to know they are in good hands.
We toured this community and the tour was good. The staff was friendly and they answered all our questions. The common areas were very nice but the community was too large to fit our needs.

The ratio between residence and staff is very good. There spend alot of time with the residence. The staff is friendly and easy to work with and my loved one is well taken care of. I would recommend this community to others

My wife is receiving good care at this community, and I'am pleased with all they have done for us. This is a good, safe community, and so far everything is working out well. I'm quite pleased with the staff, they have been helpful, and attentive. There are activities offered. The meals are well balanced overall. I do feel she is in good hands at this community, and I would recommend it.
I have no complaints about the tour I had received at this community. The staff was very welcoming and greeted my family and I with a smile and open arms. I thought that the facility was nicely maintained and had a lot of great amenities they offered to there residents. It was just unfortunately not the right budget and fit for my mother.
My church and I have been going into local nursing homes and assisted living facilities to sing Christmas carols and offer some holiday cheer to the patients that love there. I wasn't familiar with Poquoson, and when we pulled up I noticed how small it was compared to the other places we had been. This facility is true to the saying to not judge a book by its cover! A group from our church came into volunteer at Dominion Village today, the staff greeted us and introduced us to the ladies that were sitting in the living room. We decorated the Christmas tree and had a great time talking and decorating with the residents and the staff. Looking forward to going back. Great group of people. This place looked dark and dreary. The sales manger sounded like she was a robot, she may have used a script and it maybe was an off day for her. Otherwise the community is a nice looking place. I didn't see much residents doing anything but sit in their rooms. I did not like the dark atmosphere.
