The staff are great with the emotional, social care of the patients. My mother loves the food and everyone there. We have had issues with maintaining her care. Communication between the staff isn't always great but everyone seems to try. They can't use gait belts so we are working on training staff to safely assist her because of her meds she bruises easily and severely. It has been trying at times.
Dominion Village of Williamsburg transitioned into a memory care facility as my mom became a resident in 2024. She receives a high level of care, participates in weekly activities, and enjoys the off-site outings. Residents have an individual care plan that addresses their routine needs, and they receive 3 meals a day. The staff coordinates additional care as necessary, including transportation to a local dentist, and bringing in specialists to perform services such as PT/OT and podiatry. Feels like home for mom. It's a warm loving environment, staff is so kind and loving. Mom is gaining weight and has some wonderful friends she sits with at meals. They had a bday gathering for her with balloons and a cake decorated by staff. It's good to see her happy and talking more again. Mom was depressed at the previous facility she moved from. The light in her eyes has now returned. Thanks Dominon for making mom happy again. I love her very much.

5 for sure. I visit weekly. They do his Laundry. I Like to do extra cleaning in the bathroom with Spray Bleach and Lysol.. I'm a little OCD. 5 for sure. Staff keeps me informed. I Like to be present and visible. I feel that's the only way any Facility will be on the Straight and Narrow!!

My father is currently a resident at Dominion Village Williamsburg. The staff at this facility has been welcoming and friendly from the very first day. And with it being a smaller community, it is like they have their own little 'family' there. Everyone is helpful and very caring. I would recommend Dominion Village Williamsburg to family and friends.

The Staff at Dominion Village Williamsburg are professional. I always stay in touch with them. We had an excellent move in experience. The cleanliness and friendliness are great. The meals are good. You can order off of the Choice menu if you don't like what they are serving. They make a Beautiful Chef Salad. The housekeeping is on point. I would recommend Dominion Village Williamsburg for an excellent Assisted Living.
Dominion Village has been great - we're very happy with them. It's a smaller facility without much resident turnover. The staff were very kind and accommodating with move-in and getting my loved one settled. They keep the facility clean and are very careful with Covid precautions. We've had a few issues here and there with the care, which really just depends on the aide (some are better than others). What has really impressed us is that the staff know our loved one by name, they know our family by name and ultimately our loved one just feels at home here. We really like the smallness of the community all of the residents have been great and the staff member's have been wonderful. We do not have experience with the meals or dining service so we cannot rate it but we assume it is good. Based on our experience with the Dominion Village Williamsburg we would recommend this community to other families.
It is a smaller facility so the staff really get to know their residents. They are very responsive when you call and when you have an questions or concerns they address it. The staff is somewhat available at all times, there is always someone to talk to. They are all so friendly and we have nothing bad to say. We have had a great experience and I would highly recommend to others looking.
