et away Have stayed here before. Only complaint is a girls softball tournament was going on so place was literally overrun by the group, pool, lobby and any public space. Should have been told at check in and given an option not to stay. Great hotel besides that.

Road Trip Room is very nice and comfortable. Restaurant is closed, but you can order food (limited) from the bar. Service was excellent.

ur first trip to Evansville Jared who checked us in was outstanding. Service at bar was fantastic. Food was delicious our room was comfortable clean. Only down side was Our room was located by air conditioning Huge unit Located outside our window so there was no view. Housekeeping was outstanding. We needed a part for coffeemaker and she immediately provided it. Check out was fabulous. We were in Evansville for a funeral and the Doubletree made our stay welcoming comforting and we were grateful.

We enjoyed our stay! Would definitely recommend. Everything at our stay was great! The pillows hurt my neck since they sink in when you lay down. Maybe a variety of some firm pillows would be ideal.
