Was a nice little place to stay hot tub was nice especially looking up at the stars at night Nice to have a kitchen to cook anything you wanted to Only downer was that I found the bed a bit hard

Our stay at Copperbeech in Blandford Forum with Downwood Holidays was fantastic and I would have given it 5 stars except for 3 tiny things that would have made it absolutely perfect. 1 - the addition of a fan would have been incredibly helpful, our room temperature reached 31.6 degrees which was uncomfortable but luckily, knowing the weather was likely to be very hot this week, we did bring a fan with us and we were so glad we did. Everything was great. Communication and cleanliness was amazing. At times we could smell the cess pit which wasn’t pleasant which put us off having a BBQ.

Check in information and directions were really helpful and provided in good time. It made us feel really welcome. The cabin was beautifully laid out and the hot tub was clean and all set up straight away.

Entrance to Location is off a fast main road and is tight when two vehicles try to access or egress at the same time. The hedges are over grown which slightly hide the entrance and block your view when trying to navigate onto a busy main road. The surroundings are beautiful with great walks available with the golf club house within walking distance, the golf club food is fantastic, we recommend the Thai green curry. We stayed in dreamwood cottage and had a fabulous time. The cottage was stunning with great facilities, especially the hot tub. Great location for dogs. We enjoyed it so much we've rebooked to go back next week.

We loved the stable and it was very comfortable. I also appreciated the directions with photos and the WhatsApp communication. I didn't like the fact we only got check in info 48 hours before arriving, I was starting to think it was a scam! The few bits that could be improved: Pasta bowls would be fab The shower wasn't super hot, although the hot water was at the sink The pillows were good quality but quite hard A couple of baking trays We would recommend Downwood to friends and overall had a great week!

A fantastic relaxing break, everything was as described, if not better and I’d thoroughly recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing break.
