First impressions were perfect, the drive down the path to it and the quiet location was just bliss. There was everything you needed for a couple of nights . The hot tub was all ready to go which was lovely to relax in after the drive to get there. My only niggles were I think it needed more lights in the garden as there was only one that came on when we were in the hot tub at night and we had to keep waving at it to stay on and the other thing I felt a 10am checkout was very early considering most places are midday or 11am.

The Stable was perfect for our needs. Lovely property inside and out with care and attention and some touches of luxury. The grounds and woods gave a lovely walk for the dog, we made it to the golf course bar! In the property everything was thought of. The mattress was so comfy although these days a king should come as standard and there's plenty of room to house it. We loved our stay and would recommend and return, even though we only live a few miles down the road!

Lovely stay in Sandbanks, good location near the small town and also near a ferry service that goes directly across to Swanage in under 10 minutes! The decor was the highlight of our stay, very modern up to date, chic and glamorous. They had plenty of utensils pots pans etc to make the stay as comfortable as possible to make and prepare your own food! Hard to emphasise how much we enjoyed, it was everything we could have wished for our time away together. We absolutely loved Honeycomb, so pretty inside, perfect outside and so quiet all around. Communication prior and for anything during was really good, we’d highly recommend Downwood.

Beautifully decorated. We really enjoyed our stay. The house was nicely insulated. The amenities were excellent the showers were great the host provided a great cleaning service bins were removed daily. It was nice and peaceful

Perfect getaway, quaint conversation but really comfortable. Could do with a few extras in the kitchen for when you want to cook. We had a fantastic weekend.

Can’t fault our stay - communication regarding check in was very thorough and clear, the process was nice and easy. Our cottage was gorgeous and had everything we needed, no issues at all. We definitely hope to be back!

I've visited Downwood various times and loved it every time. The welcome information and service provided is impeccable and comprehensive, the lodges always spotlessly clean, and the location a pleasure to spend downtime in. Thank you for yet another lovely stay!
