After surgery in June, my mother still can't walk without a walker. Her leg is numb and she had terrible pain for many months. Dr Hyder was to put spacers between her vertebrae but put screws and hardware in there instead He did not do what he said he would do before surgery. Not recommended.
I had surgery by Dr. Hyder in 2014. I was over 300lbs. but he assured me that he did surgery on people my size and larger. He said I would be fine. To date my lower back pain is so bad I can only stand for about a minute. I found later that Dr. Hyder fused me so tight it could be repaired.. He also put an apparatus that was super sized for my short body. As I complained to Dr. Hyder he brushed me off saying, I cant' t help you I'm a surgeon not a pain specialist. Don't go to him..
Dr. Hyder in my opinion only cares about making money. He might be a decent surgeon, but he is not a nice person to his patients or staff.
