and the output is perfect for creating a filing system on my PC hard-drive I had a big job of scanning almost 2000 index cards, sized 4"x6"...and some had info on both sides....this little scanner does the job, and fast, and the output is perfect for creating a filing system on my PC hard-drive. Great scanner for the price! If you are looking for an inexpensive, compact scanner, I highly recommend this one. It is very easy to use, operates quietly and fairly quickly. The software it comes with leaves a little to be desired, but the ability to scan multiple pages into a PDF format is exactly what I was looking for

Not a bad quick low-profile scanner Not a bad quick low-profile scanner. The issue I mainly have with most scanners is the software. This scanner comes with a few options, PaperPort being the application I use primarily. Though it works well for what I need, there are constant TWAIN errors that pop-up which are annoying (running on Win 7). The software is definitely older (written for XP or prior), but this seems to be what you get with most scanner software unfortunately.
