Dustin was amazing until the last leg of our loan- to be specific, the day before we were supposed to sign all our docs with title. We were set to sign at 9am and our realtor was the one to reach out to us (at 4pm the day before) and let us know there was an issue with some documents - funny that came up AFTER Mutual sent us a, “Congrats! You’re clear to close!,” e-mail. I sent Dustin a text and left a voicemail asking what the hold up was and pleading for help and answers as title closed at 5pm. The expertise and knowledge provided by Dustin Nate's was second to none. Its obvious that Dustin has a passion for the work, and provides a tremendous amount of direction and advice for his clients. The overall process however was frustrating. Two separate deadlines passed without closing, our previous loan is STILL not showing as being paid off due to what appears to be an accounting error somewhere, and the communication beyond Dustin is limited at best.

At the beginning it was great, but I wish that there had been more communication when one member of the team quit until another member joined. There was three weeks in between communication which lead to frustration on our part.

There were dropped balls, lots of radio silence, failure to follow up, and too much dependency on texting as the sole means of communication. While Dustin in the end pulled it out and got the contract closed, I’m not sure exactly, why it took us so long to close. I don’t honestly know which office/step was more to blame. Dustin didn’t seem to understand that either. All in all, it seemed a failure to communicate effectively between offices made this deal suck wind.

Not sure where all of the hold ups and road blocks came from. We have purchased homes in the past but never had this much trouble. Ultimately, I feel that the communication slowed down due to the office not having answers for questions that were going to be surely asked. I assume everyone is busy with the boom in the market but I would leave voicemails with no call backs, texts with no response, and emails that got buried but likely ignored. Ultimately, deal done. Company made amends.
