My daughter was diagnosed last year. At the time of diagnosis she was 2 years old and nonverbal. We are now 8 months in to services; the services are close to 30 hours a week... At a time of real confusion we were sent at program manager "MK" there's nothing this lady can't handle.. she write goals reports etc( not sure when this lady sleeps lol) a whole program individualize to fit the special needs of my child. MK then tracks the progress of the child weekly and puts it into a report every 90 days... nothing short of amazi... read more
I serve as a court-appointed conservator for a special needs client of Easter Seals and was recently at their grand opening in Santa Ana when I went to check in and found the review of what appears to be a disgruntled current or former employee. My job is to protect the life and support the growth of my conservatee and I would never accept any of what is alleged by the other reviewer. As for a proper review, I have nothing but great things to say about the organization and stand behind the people and the philosophy of ... read more
Look at reviews from actual parents not third parties reviews. Easter Seals becomes very rude and dismissive towards "parents" who have concerns. With any autism service provider, if you do not complain then you have no problems. I have over 24 years of experience and 3 kids one the spectrum. Maybe if you aren't the one who has to deal with eloping, violent behaviors, being up all day and night, then maybe your experience would be different. Are if they are habitually cancelling sessions and that causes your kids to reg... read more
I was trying to get ABA services for my son for a long time and then when I called them back then I got a letter in the mail and also in my email that they are discontinuing services. That's fine. I'll take my business elsewhere with a different company cause they were just showing an attitude And not a company that I would recommend at least not for me. I'm trying another agency. I'm sorry this was not the right fit for me especially the people who are calling me being so rude cause sometimes I can't get to the phone right ... read more
This organization has been disappointing in several areas, and we have concerns about their billing practices. We ended services for multiple reasons, primarily due to the ABA therapist's consistent tardiness and, at times, failure to show up. When she did arrive, her techniques were ineffective. If our son struggled with a task, her approach of threatening to leave was not productive. She seemed unfamiliar with his treatment plan, and we had to contact her supervisor multiple times to address concerns and redirect her appro... read more
Received our referral from KP. Dealing with agency is frustrating. Poor communication. I have to call them repeatedly in order to remind them that my son is still seeking ABA, OT and speech. I finally told them to send the referral back to KP and I'll search for OT myself. Within a week, I was able to get him a weekly appointment.
Horrible! No stars review here. The Clinical Supervisor and her staff are very unprofessional and rude!I am no longer allowing Easter Seals to come to my home to provide services. It's unbelievable that these type of people are the ones who are supposed to be trusted to provide services. They even treat their own employees horribly. Don't trust them! This company is a nightmare!
Easterseals is horrible. They seem to be a bit lazy, slow, and just in it for the money. They have their own agenda. I was not listened to on availability. Kaiser needs to dump this organization. I regret giving a dime during the telethon days.
Trying to help a friend for their daughter who was diagnosed with Autism. My friend has Kaiser insurance and so they had to go thru Easterseals. Easterseals do not provide ABA therapy themselves, but they do evaluations and then refer you out. My friends daughter was diagnosed 3 months ago and they have not yet set up date for the evaluation. They did say that it might take 6 months for the evaluation to be completed, not sure why it takes so long. In the meantime that kid is getting services thru ROC which has been quite r... read more
