RV was in great shape and very clean when we picked it up. They even accommodated an early pickup for us. Sandra was very polite and courteous and helped us at every step of the procedure. She was detailed in her instructions and walked us through all mechanical details of the motor home. This is my second time with El Monte Las Vegas and I will return!
The RV experience was wonderful. The only part I didn’t care for was the time frame I had to have the RV back by. If you’re any somewhat lengthy distance away, you either have to cut your trip short by a day/night or get up very early the next morning to get the RV back on time (must be back between 8-11 AM).
Taking over the RV was quite fast, almost too fast for a newbie like me. Everything went smooth and the RV held troughout the three-weeks trip. ==> GREAT! One thing that was really bothering was an ugly smell in the RV. Accoriding to the staff, it should have disappeared after a day having the windows open. But it stayed up to 1.5 week and we fought against it with room refresh spray etc. Returing was even faster and everything was ok. Helpful and friendly staff
When picking up the camper, the navigation system did not work. They tried this a total of 5 times. The sixth system worked! This cost us a lot of time and we could not leave on time. During the rental period, 4 weeks, we encountered more functions that did not work. What didn't work, on the dining table is a charging system for the phone. This didn't work because the power cable was broken under the table. Because it didn't work, I looked at the cause and I came across the broken cable. We rented three rv's for over $13,000. At pickup the rv’s were not ready. We waited until 4 p.m. and the handover was sloppy. The lid of the black water and fresh water tanks were missing. They didn't have a lid for the fresh water tank. We improvised and closed the tank with a plastic bag during the trip so that water didn't constantly run out. During the four-week tour, all tanks always showed full on the control panel, regardless of whether they were freshly dumped or not. Nevertheless we had to pay a fine of 75$ because ... read more
