All of the staff is wonderful - polite, kind and caring - from the top down. They claim no food complaints in years and I believe it. Residents are respected and treated as adults, complete with a weekly happy hour. The apartment was immaculate and move in ready - fresh paint and carpets and housekeeping meets that standard. We give Elison of Orchard Glen an overall excellent rating and highly recommend residency.
I picked this community because I was told they had excellent food and a lot of activities. Some of the food is not that good. Some food is very good. Activities are not their priorities.

My mom is currently a resident at Elison of Orchard Glen and everything has been great for her at this facility. The move in process was smooth. We signed the contract and brought in a few items that day and moved in the following day. The facility smells good and is always clean. Mom has started slowly to participate and has actually improved her mobility. I have no complaints on the housekeeping. They just got a new housekeeper and mom commented on the nice job she did. Elison of Orchard Glen is a warm, welcoming environment, with great food, beautiful apartments, and lots of activities. It is a safe place for my dearest friend!
The tour was great for us! Unfortunately my loved one never was able to move in.
This is the best place that we have found. They are excellent, caring, friendly, and the community is clean. The communication with the staff has been awesome for the family, and they are responsive to our questions and concerns. Weekly church services, bingo, happy hour, entertainment, theme parties and celebrations, games, and more are some of the activities for the residents to choose from.
Everything is going fine, the facility is beautiful and the staff are very nice and accommodating, especially [name removed]. This was one of two places that allowed smoking outside which was a must for us. My loved one is just not taking advantage of all that they have to offer and is having a hard time adjusting, especially to the meal times. It would be nice if they could pick their meals for the whole week.
The management of the facility is very flexible and very friendly. They worked hard to make sure they understood our needs, and they were able to offer programs and ideas to address our specific situation. The apartments are awesome. They're modern, appear to be well maintained, are appropriately sized, and have good views out the windows. And they clearly put effort into freshening up the spaces when there is turnover in residents.
I thought that the facility was nicer overall than others we looked at, but the rooms were just so-so. The big downside for us is that they're located kind of far out - not close to Buffalo. And that played a big part in our decision.
