RecommendedMy lab is 3 years old and he had a bad ear infection ,I called to make an appt and he was seen the next morning .I know he is good hands he always comes out a happy dog ,which I see they give him a lot of attention And they can handle his excitement and the medicine cleared his infection in the ears back to normal

Elmwood Grove Animal Hospital advertises it's Thursday closing time to be 8:00 p.m. I arrived with my cat (who had a sore on her shoulder) at 7:15 p.m. We were turned away because they said there were 2 patients ahead of us. I begged them to see her. Instead, they told me to "come back tomorrow." When I told them that my work hours don't allow me to come at their earlier closing times, they referred me to the emergency vet in Elmwood Park. Took our Great Dane in for a bump on her paw and was told we needed an X-ray. Once that was completed the doc told us she needed to do a biopsy because she wasn’t sure what it was and the biopsy would give her answers. Biopsy was done the same day. She called me a few days later and left a voicemail saying the biopsy was inconclusive and we could either pay more money to have another team of vets look at it with a 24 hr response or have her post the X-ray films to a vet forum she’s part of to get feedback—this option would ... read more
