I am excited that someone bought this theatre (Portage, IN location) and opened it back up! Was upset that the first buyer of Goodrich Quality Theatres didnt wanna buy the Portage location but happy someone stepped in to continue this theatre here! I like their plans for it. and now is the best time to go cause theres no crowds and you kinda get the theatre to yourself! glad they kept the "original" integrity of the Theatre in tact...just wish they had a frequent movie goer card or app like goodrich did. they don't even have popcorn refills! but all in all just happy to have our favorite neighborhood movie Theatre back open again...🤷♀️👏👍
I had a great time! The chairs were comfortable, it wasn’t too loud, and the theatre can accommodate you if necessary!
I’ve gone twice since they opened. The 2 different auditoriums I was in haven’t been renovated yet so I’m not sure when that’s going to happen, but it’s nice to be back in a familiar place. I live closer to AMC but I do not like their overpriced concessions and terrible popcorn. Before the pandemic I was happy to drive further to the Portage IMAX and I was so sad that it might be closed forever. I’m so happy that’s not the case even though it’s not the same company.
