The theater itself is beautiful but a couple employees were quite rude. Not sure if they were just having a bad night but this was my first time coming to this theater & first impressions are everything. I don’t think I’ll be back for another visit.
When to the Portage, Indiana location today with my dad and son, and were turned away due to the entire theater being rented out for a private event. That in itself wasn't the problem. The problem was that there was no signage of any type, anywhere. Not on the building, not in your app not even on your Facebook page. Completely bummed today. Thanks for nothing Emagine.
they suck first of all there rules make no sine we can’t see a rated r movie because there’s not enough seats next to each other for the person over 17 to sit next to us. portage i max was so much better they didn’t have all these stupid rules. but it’s on emagine cause there gonna lose so much business from all the teenagers that won’t go there anymore
I went to see The Batman movie the other day... I walked out after 2hrs into it... I would've left sooner but the person I went with convinced me to stay as long as I did. Batman is one of my favorites superheroes and going into a theater expecting to watch an action packed superhero movie and getting that was I felt a waste of time. It was an extremely slow, dimly lit screen, not your typical"Marvel superhero" style of movie (yes I know it's DC) with great amounts of action and storyline.

a gaggle of young girls ran in and out of the theater at least a dozen times during the movie, played hot potato with their phones, took flash selfies all during the movie. I asked the management to address it, someone came into the theater but the situation was never addressed. Until the policy on unaccompanied minors changes not really worth going to this theater, as it's really just a play ground for the kids right now.
