Couldn't ask for better care for my daughter All the nurses and therapists have been great !!! She's already doing more in 4 days after being hit head on in a car accident than I ever dreamed but God and her staff have got this and couldn't be more happy

My husband was admitted to Encompass after two frontal lobe strokes. The quality of care that he (we) received was top notch. Most of the credit for our positive experience goes to our team of therapists. I couldn't have asked for a more compassionate and caring team to help my husband (literally) get back on his feet. They kept me well informed on his progress and deficits and how I (as a caregiver) could contribute to his recovery. This is a wonderful rehab hospital. I know of no better in the Nashville area. The therapy staff is very professional. The nursing is excellent. They provide a level of care that is very rare these days. The facility is state of the art in every way. I used this facility twice. Once as a result of a major knee surgery. The second time was to recover from a serious lung virus that could not be cured through medications. Hence it was difficult to breath. My daughter spent almost two weeks here after a serious car accident. She only had use of her right arm, but the therapists were able to teach her to transfer herself. All of the staff, doctors, nurses, therapists, case managers, cooks, receptionist are all knowledgeable, wonderful, responsive and very accommodating. Plus, the location is great too - within minutes of anything you would need. Thank you HealthSouth!

my husband was at this rehab for 10 days because it was supposed to be wonderful...when i picked him up he looked worse than when he had been discharged from the hospital. he was disheveled, had not shaved in 10 days..when i got him home he had trouble getting his balance when he got out of the car. no one ever asked me what my goals were for his rehab. the caregiver app was useless. they did not include me, the caregiver, in "care" team meetings. i have concluded they wrote him off rather than trying to improve his phy... read more
