RecommendedI fell and fractured my hip, I had a rod and nailing placed in my hip. I live on a second floor apartment, there are 17 steps up to my apartment. With that being said I could not go home. I was pleased when I got to Encompass, the staff was friendly and encouraging! They therapy team is outstanding! They helped me get on my feet and learn how to care for my personal hygiene with adaptive devices. They helped me get strong enough to climb those stairs required to go home in just 6 days! RecommendedI can"t praise HealthSouth enough for my husbands team of thearpist, the nurses, our case worker Justin Kouns snd the dieticians! He came in a blank slate from a traumatic brain injury and after 30 days he had made so much progress that he was discharged home with outpatient therapy. I would highly recommend HealthSouth for rehabilitation!
