RecommendedI do NOT recommend. Therapist did not listen when I told him that my husband needed his bi-pap when laying down per his pulmonologist and started arguing with me. When a therapist thinks he knows more than a doctor, someone could be hurt. Safety belt was not used when transferring my husband and he fell. Additionally, my husband asked for some meds for gas and bloating (side effect of thickening agent for liquids) three days ago. No one requested that for him until today, despite numerous requests.

My mother went into this facility for rehab after an 11 day stay at a local hospital. She was weak and needed help regaining her strength. She was able to walk on a walker and stayed awake and communicated with us on long visits or via FaceTime. She was promised 8 hrs per day of PT at Encompass and by the third day she was unable to communicate with us and had to be assisted to get out of the bed to a wheelchair where she was left unattended and slumped over. RecommendedDay shift was great! Physical Therapist’s were great as well as Occupational Therapist’s. They really helped me to learn how to navigate keeping one leg off of the floor. The night shift is a complete different story. It’s like there was no one in charge. I wasn’t getting my sleep medicine until after midnight. I had to speak up (not so nicely), to get my stitches/staples out. It was about 9:30pm at this point. You’re basically just left to fend for yourself.
