I can't say enough about the excellent care that everyone provided at the beautiful and sparking clean Encompass North in Lutz. My father was released from the hospital and needed rehab and I visited several skilled nursing options and I was not impressed. The charge nurse at the hospital told me about Encompass which was not presented initially as an option. Encompass is between skilled nursing and a hospital so they provide much more PT, OT and other services while still having doctors paying careful attention to the heal... read more

They are short of personnel, leaving a big amount of patients to one person. They can not keep up with all the work, and that's the reason why it takes a long time to take care of all. My husband was there for 11 days and they gave him ONLY ONE bath, and I helped. I was the one who had to clean him and bathe him. I will bring clothes from home and change him. On top of that, the place looks lonely and dark. I WILL NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE FOR YOUR LIVED ONES

My husband was there for 11 days and they gave him ONLY ONE bath, and I helped. I was the one who had to clean him and bathe him. I will bring clothes from home and change him. My husbands bed was wet and so was the blanket. He had the same shirt on two days in a row and it was dirty. No one offered to clean him up or his bed. He cannot walk on his own. This is at 4:30 on a Saturday afternoon. I told someone about it but nothing. Also, it's hard enough coming to see your loved one at a hospital and the guy at the front desk, never speaks or smiles. Points to sign the paper and I said what time is it and he pointed to the clock. Never looks up as you walk by to smile or anything. Not welcoming at a... read more

My 84 year old father was admitted to the Encompass, North Tampa, location for physical therapy because he was experiencing neuropathy in his feet. He was a patient for 18 days and there was no improvement in his physical capabilities. In fact, his condition deteriorated to the point where he required a two-person assist to transfer from a bed to wheel chair. He was unable to stand or use the bathroom without assistance.
