I needed to see a doctor that day and my doctor’s schedule was full so I decided to see Dr. Sowell because I had heard good things about him.He’s young, knowledgeable and extremely patient. He was able to explain everything about my visit and the medicine he was going to prescribe.Great people skills as well!Highly recommend this doctor if you’re young and don’t already have an internal medicine doctor. That way you can grow old along with him.

I first met Dr. Sowell when I needed a doctor immediately for my mother. I was so impressed with him, he soon became my new PCP. He’s never in a rush and treats his patients as if they’re the only priority he has. When deciding on a treatment plan, he engages his patient in discovering the best options. I recently moved back to Baton Rouge from Texas and finding a great PCP was important. With Dr. Sowell, I hit the jackpot.
Dr. Sowell is extremely attentive. He listens carefully to everything I have to say and spends time getting to know his patients.
