Definitely avoid this company! They started demanding payment before work was finished and never finished the work once they were paid. There were paint spots left on hardwoods that I was told would not have any paint on them during the process. They did not seem to be in touch with their workers- it appeared that workers made copies of my house keys without telling me or Express yourself staff. This customer was not invoiced before the work was completed. We sent crews out twice to perform touch ups. The customer was never present for a walk through with the paint crew. The work not completed was water damage from a roof leak that occurred during our project and was not part of the original work scope. He insisted we repair the ceiling for free. Their work was not great. We were not home when they came and their "checkout" was asking my 14-year-old if it looked OK. When I called to tell them they missed some obvious spots I was told they would charge me to come back out.

Mr [Member Name Removed] signed that he was satisfied with the work. since seeing this review posted we have tried multiple times to reach out to the Gentleman but could not connect with him. we would be more than happy to work with him on this issue, the work was completed over a year ago. It would have been great to hear of his concerns before now.
When Express Yourself Paint (EYP) representative John M. showed up, he took another $50 deposit and promised to provide a written estimate/quote of the total cost of repair. They provided a quote but it did not include the main damage repair of the garage ceiling as promised so when I called EYP recommended hiring someone else to perform these repairs (they said it is not their specialty). The painter was done in 6 hours, he had the garage all cleaned up. He told me that he didn't want to stay and sit waiting for it to dry. He told me that he would take it up with Brit Roberts regarding the 2 hours he owned me. I got an e-mail from them stating to finish the work, I owed them another $400 to come back. Since then, it's 3 months, all the new tape is separating again and the ceiling re-cracked. I have tried to contact them 3 times, and no one is returning my call. This was the very first time I used Angies List.
The bathroom, they did an horrendous job. The bedroom was fine and the deck they did a terrible job. They didn't put plastic over furniture. The bath was a remodel so it was brand new and they put marks on a toilet seat which they did replace. The sales people were professional the painters weren't. They just weren't careful they were caress.
It didn't go and I had to fight to get my money back

We had high hopes for EYP, given all of the positive reviews. Unfortunately, our experience wasn’t so great. We had a number of issues: Our property was not protected in several areas (vinyl floors, wall switches, shutters, marble in front of the fireplace, and many electrical outlets all had paint splatter). Not good. Typical bait and switch. Do not expect to actually pay the advertised price for any of their specials. The repair estimate for the extra items seemed reasonable but the work was not up to par. The ceiling looked awful. Streaking with yellow and the popcorn was still uneven. We are sorry that you were unhappy with your paint job. Our work orders are very specific and agreed upon by the customer in advance. Often times one coat is not sufficient coverage and second coat is required. However, in this case only one coat was what was agreed upon and that was what the Express Yourself Paint completed and charged for.
