Tried to contact the vendor for a week and received no response. When I finally reached someone at the office, after several attempts and several days, I was told they have been having issues with their Angieslist system (Apparently " THE" System included voicemails, emails and contact from Angie's List). Needless to say I was told they couldn't perform the service I paid for on the original requested day and they were booked out two more weeks. We apologize for not getting in touch right away to schedule your job. We do have an answering service who takes appointments Mon-Fri 8-5. We have also recently installed a new phone service to make getting in contact with us easier and more convenient.
let me start off by saying we had no idea about subcontracting until we worked with this company. the guy who came out and gave us the estimate was very nice after talking for a while he ended up staying at our home for an extra hour and got pretty pushy about relion. started trying to get us to go to his church. no biggie were laid back and he meant no harm and they had good prices. so the guys who show up on the first day of work showed up in a van with a different name on it. so at that moment we figured out the job had b... read more
The painters did a good job on cut work. However, they damaged a curtain rod and several shower curtain rods and did not fully reattach light fixtures. Worse, after just a few days,we noticed that the paint appeared to have water marks all over (all rooms)and smudged very easily. The painter suggested we "wipe" the walls. I met with the painter prior to beginning. They were requested to paint two bedrooms, trim no ceiling but closet and built in cabinets . If they were tight on time to stay extra and finish as completing to job was critical . At the end of the day the closet was not painted on the shelves with original pine wood not even touched. There was sheetrock that was not painted left bare with screw holes no prep. We discussed paint type prior . I had a consultation appointment scheduled for 2 pm on Wednesday, September 18, 2013 with Mike Smith. He called and told me that I was a priority but asked if our appointment could be rescheduled for Thursday, September 19, 2013 at the same time. I agreed. Thursday I was busy painting my laundry room, but stopped working just prior to 2pm to wait for his arrival. I waited until 3 pm and then tried calling him. This will be a long review so in summary based on our experience: <br /> <ul> <li>- only believe exactly what is on paper and ignore any verbal promises made</li> <li>- if issues arise, don't expect to work through this with David as a valued customer.
