Great service, met needs immediately after listening to what I was needling to store. Walked me through the whole process, which was painless, and thanked me when I moved my things out. Amazing!
Very clean space and support people are curteous and make everything very easy
The facility was very clean and accessible, yet secure. The staff was very helpful from the reservation process to getting everything signed and giving us a tour. I feel confident that our belongings will be safe and secure with Extra Space!
Provided remote application to reserve my unit until I got in town. When I got town I was even more pleased they offered remote because they only had one unit left and it would not have been big enough! Space was very clean, their dollies for helping made the move even faster! Staff super easy and enjoyable to work with!
So far, so great. Had to move from another name brand storage place after they started a major renovation. The Extra Space facility was clean, well located and the staff was most helpful.
I had a great experience with Extra Space. First on the phone with customer service I was able negotiate a lower price than expected based on prices I had been offered at other Storage sites. Then at the site itself I had a great interaction with the on site Manager who was helpful and informative. The space itself was clean, well lit, and easily accessible.
This company increases rates with no justification. After just 4 months our unit price was doubled. I notice multiple class action lawsuits - one in 2019 for bate and switch that they lost. Today their Black Friday sale is showing 50% off - which will not last if you sign up with them. The unit we used was off Sunset in Raleigh. I expect this bate and switch activity is a company strategy however.

Extra Space will hound you for google reviews persistently. We stored some furniture for one year in unit 237 and returned to find it covered in rat urine and feces, Extra Space then told us to "leave it in the unit until they decide how to precede". Tyler told us that Extra Space would handle the disposal of the furniture since the damage occurred during their "care". My initial impression was good but that has quickly changed. I am in the process of relocating to Raleigh from Wilmington. Yesterday i brought some items from Wilm to put in storage in Raleigh. The facility has major roof leak issues. When i brought my concern to the staff i was told "maybe it won't leak over your unit". There was a significant amount of water on the floor from roof leaks.
