Extra Space Storage at the ******************** location has grossly overcharged me just about with the help of the government taking every ***** left in my bank account so that I am left with nothing and feeling like I am rebuying my own property. They claim I could've chosen the $74 / month for 4 months charge before the price being raised with a $60-80 insurance charge for only $10,000 worth if property. If I could give 0 stars I would. I rented a storage unit in ******** ******* from Extra space storage and have been with them a year, and was NEVER late or behind on payment, They have jacked my rate up 3 times after telling me in the beginning when i first rented the unit that it would stay $104.00 (insurance included) for 2 years then I get notification that my bill is going from $186.00 a month to $258.00 a month, tried calling them to figure something out abd was given the run around. Mistreated. Owner was rude and nasty with me for being upset that they have been an inconvenience to all customers there and giving no access to anyone. The manager there is a lost cost. I canceled my account and will never go back and I will make this location and owner public for all to know how your treated there! Super disrespectful I have lost thousands in sales do to this place and inconvenience.

My name is ******. I rented 2 units at extra space storage, have only been there 4 months and they have doubled price without notification, i told facility manager that this is a good way to lose customers and he said it happens and was rude. So now i need to move out before the 3rd of april. Dont use them unless u dont mind paying double price after 4 months.

These people are terrible. I rented a unit for $45 a month in November. In January, they charged me $79. I called my local storage and the woman said she would check into it and call me back. She never did. Then in February they charged me $79 again. I left a message, no return call. I notified the corporate office and they sent me an email saying "...Due to market changes and availability, rates are subject to change. Rate change notices are provided at least 30 days before the new rate goes into effect."No one ever notifie... read more

I'm refuge from *******, renting 2units for a long time. Manager of facility ****** ******* told me to give her 5 stars, but I gave negative feedback, because a lot of rats running between units. She started make everything to kick me out:Restricted visiting hours, this year she increase price for my units 2 times and I have to pay more than ******, This is highest price for all Bay area. She is acting like this is her own facility.

I signed up last summer for $290 and today I have cancelled my storage units in Fishers, IN at $450. They claim they mailed me a letter about the price increase the first time when it jumped to $370 but they did not. They increased the price again with no warning again to $450, disposable.

I believe my items were stolen by staff at the ******************************* location. Extra Storage Space is responsible for erroneously moving my unit out. According to their staff they had a systematic error which caused them to give more than 75% of my items away. Staff claimed that another customer had their belongings in the hallway and somehow, they thought he purchased another unit, which was my LOCKED paid for unit. The whole thing make no sense.
