Beware of the bait and switch price ********** under 11months I received 2 price hikes to now 2.5x the original price.With the initial price of ***** now to ******. Somehow I don't think their AC cost doubled in that time. I mean talk about being ****** just for the sake of it. If you have to use them bc of the location be VERY WARY of staying for any length of time, short term at best and dont use autopay. Sleazy scumbags running a predatory business.

I've been fighting with this company since becoming a customer, ever so often I would receive an increase on this same size no upgraded unit, this month I received a notification that the cost of this storage unit is increasing by $102 stating next month the cost will be going up. I refuse to pay for this unit with such a large increase, I've decided to try and move out before having to pay this much more expensive bill. I feel gouged without cause. There is no way the COL excuse will play out here

Excessive late fees. They erase payments already made to charge for delays. Even worse, they notify late to justify the charge.

I am so completely disgusted by the treatment I received today on the phone with representative, *****. My husband and I are receiving requests for payment on a storage unit we did not rent. I called to ask for assistance with this and she accused my husband of renting this even though I may not have known about it. I guaranteed her that did not occur and asked her how this fraudulent act could have happened? She said "I will tell you what happened. YOUR HUSBAND walked into an Extra Space and rented a unit". Reported multiple cases of mouse infestation. Management says they have no control over the issue and cannot help me. Im a nurse with young children. I understand basic hygiene and sanitation and although much of my childrens belongings have been contaminated or destroyed by the mice extra space storage reassures me there is nothing they can do to help me.

Extra storage is a rip off. Instead of refunding my money they are saying I owe money. I was with them for two months and for the third month they were planning to double the cost of the storage. Therefore. I decided to move out after paying for my second month. They agreed but refused to refund my money. They are rude and very unprofessional!. This business should not be allowed to exist the way they treat their customers. Other people are moving out for the same reason,

DO NOT use this place. I signed up under a price of $22/month. And I turned on Autopay. Just checked and they started charging me $44/month (double) after three months. I was not told that there would be an increase when I signed the contract, and was never notified of anything since then. This is a SCAM, and I will be telling everyone I know to avoid this place at all costs. Extra Space Storage on ************************** *****. The business asks how long you intend to rent for and when you answer a minimum of a year, they give you an internet rate. After three months, I was given a 30-day notice of a 65% rate increase. Given that my 10 x 10 unit is actually 8 1/2 by 9 1/2 ft.... Truly poor. Poor business, poor ethics, poor standards. Should be illegal.
