SUE THEM - READ CAREFULLY....Make sure you READ the full contract with this company. Each location is privately owned. They all have 'different rules.' If they auctioned your things - make SURE they did what 'they were supposed to do' otherwise - sue them, and get your funds back. Don't let this filthy company use scare tactics with you.

Review of Extra Space Storage *********************************************** two major incidents within the first few weeks of renting this facility, I feel obligated to warn other customers.The most recent incident occurred today. The freight lift, which has been unreliable since I rented the unit, failed completely. Previously, the only way to make it move was for someone to physically hold the door while it ascended. This location manager is ****** ?All ****************** routed right back to this location NEVER CORPORATE ?There are no district managers, as they claim ?No one returns your calls ?They overcharge & increase rent without notice ?They lie about everything ?They closed restroom hours. The ** at the ****************** located off ******** is DISGUSTINGLY UNPROFESSIONAL!! She stated something about living on the property and she thinks this is her house and not a business that she is employed by. She verbally threatened me because I told her I didnt like how she was talking to me as if I was less than her. A real lack of intrapersonal skills and not emotional mature enough to respectfully make requests. She treats you like an uninvited guest in her house rather than a customer.

ZERO STARS. ************ HOMELESS FOR 2 YEARS- RENTED AN EXTRA LARGE DOUBLE UNIT FOR THOSE TWO YEARS- THE BILL DOUBLED TO $400 WITHIN 2 YRS WITH NO NOTICE- EVER! I BEGGED THEM NOT TO KEEP INCREASING IT. WE WOULD LOSE ACCESS TO OUR BELONGINGS IF WE WERE *FIVE DAYS LATE* ON THE MONTHLY BILL- SO WE NEVER HAD ACCESS TO OUR BELONGINGS. ***** ****** and her boyfriend are liars. I have video and audio proving this. I was vandalized and it was an inside job. I will be filing a civil suit. Years from now, this will never end, they think this will go away, but it would never go away. They anre all liars in thieves.!!!

"CORPORATE" CUSTOMER SERVICE RUDE AS ALL GET OUT AND RATE HIKING MY UNIT $100 AFTER ONLY 4 MONTHS OF SERVICE. BEEN A CUSTOMER OF THEIRS FOR YEARS ON OTHER UNITS. FIRST GUY HANGS ON ME MOMENTS INTO THE CALL. CALL BACK AND GET DEAD AIR. CALL A THIRD TIME AND GET "******", VERY ENTITLED, TALK OVER YOU THE ENTIRE CONVERSATION AND JUST PLAIN RUDE. Terrible business practices the lady ********* **** up in out face stop answering the phone and to top it off did not issue a refund upon us leaving after two days the walls are coming apart it is not climate controlled what so ever Rat droppings everywhere inside the units as well cockroaches. And then stated she cannot give me a refund because she we move into the wrong units if you want the best upkeep for your items do NOT rent from this Extra Space Storage 6800 military trail just go to *********

I paid the first six months in advance at $52 a month. After the six months were up, the rate goes to $104 a month. When I call to complain, the store manager tells me that the best she can do is $99 a month and that is a great deal. A call to customer service is no help since they are off shore. I left a Yelp review and an ***** S says to call to discuss the problem. No one at their corporate office, off shore call center or local location has heard of this person.
