My first time ever visiting an Extra Storage Facility and my experience with manager was awesome. Juan is his name and seems to be a very happy guy. He had a smile on his face the entire time. He also talked me out of going to public storage.. So I still visited the public storage after and I can truly say I have no regrets. 5 star for sure.

I had a very good experience opening a storage unit here and their rates were great. The facility is clean and gated. I only saw one elevator so I'd recommend using the facility at very low peak times. The customer service was very good and I found the process to be clear and pretty standard. The facility isn't fancy but seems to be secure. Play by the rules though or you'll be evicted. This should make for a safer facility.

My Mom and I have been Renting from Extra Space storage for the last 19 months , because of the professional staff mainly Melissa has been very very helpful especially after selling a home with our life possessions of 75 years they made us comfortable in knowing that everything is safe. Because her professionalism we kept a smaller space because last week we moved half the storage out . I recently began renting a storage unit at Extra Space Storage for work and I am so glad I picked this place! Not only is the facility in tip top shape, but the customer service has really gone above and beyond. Melissa was super friendly, informative and helpful from the second I walked in. When my storage door got stuck (all my fault!) Melissa, Juan and Eduardo came to the rescue. The price on my storage went up $84 about 3 months in with no notification. On top of that when I moved out of the storage facility they shut down the freight elevator before their listed closing time forcing me to carry all of my things down the stairs. I have a medical condition limiting my ability to carry heavy things and if anything would've happened to me I'd have sued. I think that this location is alright at best. I used the location in Northridge a few years back,and I loved the experience. No complaints. But last year I got a storage unit at this location and not good. Doesn't get cleaned often. The workers have such bad service. The ladies are rude all the time. They have an attitude , the only time they seem nice is the first day you meet them. This is one of the worst customer service I've ever received. I arrived with my boyfriend and his father as they made a reservation to check out a storage space. We were greeted by a locked office with no one inside. After standing around for a couple minutes, an employee came to get the door for us. He showed us the storage space, when my boyfriends father wanted to sign a lease, he insisted we had to wait for the assistant manager because he didn't have the lease codes. I used this storage for exactly five months, on the 2nd of February I evacuated the unit (for which I applied a month in advance for the cancelation). On the 3rd of Feb I was charged the monthly fee as their system had failed to cancel the unit After about 9 to 10 different calls in the past three months, and numerous emails exchanged with the branch directly, speaking with the managers Juan and Melissa, AND district managers over the phone I FINALLY got refunded the monthly fee that was taken out by ERROR on the 3rd of Feb... read more

This place is ridiculous! I reserved the space online, with a half off first month managers special. When it came time to pay out the total was more than the original price, due to taxes and fees. What?! I'm here the day after trying to get access to my paid space only to find out that they put a lock on it, now they are closed and they want me to wait up to an hour for the duty manager that lives in the building to show up. The representative on the phone then said that I should have put a lock on it. Wtf! W T F!!!
