We had 73 boxes to move into storage quickly. Joy at Extra Space Storage worked to assure we had all paperwork properly processed quickly and efficiently. Job was completed within a day.

staff is very friendly and helpful, the unit is clean, good location, you can even have semi-truck to pull the pallet and store your items here. they also provide indoor storage with air condition. they do provide gate access, on site manager, monitor so i think it is pretty safe

Started the house moving process and Extra-space storage really made the move easier! I reserved a storage space online and went in an hour to fill out the paperwork. Joy, the sales person really made it easy for me to get moved into the storage. I would recommend this place for temporary storage in that part of Plano.

****AVOID***** They WILL double or triple your rent on the 4th month for every single new person. It's done thru corporate...They send you this notice on your 3rd month with the 150% rate increase and state it's "market conditions" that require the rate increase but this company did the exact same thing to me 3 years prior and said the exact same thing. Funny they seem to be about only 85% full from my drive around.... I'm not sure if "Corporate" understands there is a self storage business on every street corner now in Am... read more

This place is a joke. I just received a Rate change notice due to market conditions and apparently, the market has gone up in the past three months 66%. Price gouging at its finest. If you lease a space here, know that you will see continual huge increases in rent starting about three months after being there. I have had a space for about a year and my rent has doubled. They bank on the inconvenience, cost and time for someone to move to a new space.

This place baits you in with a low rate and gradually increases it by sending sneaky letters in the mail notifying you of the increase. I am blown away that they would be taking advantage of customers like this during the pandemic. I called and asked if they could work with me since I lost my job and I was told nothing they could do.

Please do not lease from this company. Property Manager Joy is an angry unreasonable person and does not fully understand the companies billing system. They overcharged us for the first month and when we ask them to correct it they locked us out of our unit even though we were completely paid. They keep telling us that they have reversed the charge and we need to pay it again but there has been no reversal on our card.

Moving due to property take over by Extra Space. Took away the double doors which really helped when moving furniture. You also cannot throw away trash there anymore. If you do they will fine you $100. That is ridiculous not to allow paying customers to throw away small items. Previously you could put boxes in recycle and throw out trash. Clean facility and staff is friendly. Moving after about 8 years. One downfall is close to Plano compost and some days the smell is really bad.
