I was reminded today of why I store my things with extra space. Everything about the place, the rates are decent enough, the hours to access my unit, awesome.......Yelp going out though to Joaquin and Juan for the ease of everything. Always extra relaxed knowing he and Juan look after that property. My stuff is there, who else would I pay to keep it safe. No other.....Professionals in their field for sure.

I had nothing but a great experience with this facility. The people are friendly and knowledgeable. Joaquin went over and beyond his call of duty to make sure that my unit meets all my requirements. I got a good deal and a great customer service. The older negative postings seem to be from a time of different management. Things seems to have changed for the better since then.

We obtained this storage unit to store our company supplies. The staff was very helpful and friendly. They showed us the unit prior to renting. The rates are very reasonable and the access hours are very convenient. They had a great move in special for us. The location is right off a major street.

Watch out for this storage unit in Santa Ana. It's called Extra Space Storage on 5 th & Sullivan. Yesterday my brother's storage unit got robbed and something seems very off. This for sure had to be an inside job/someone was watching. No one else's storage was robbed and to enter the facility you MUST put a code to get in. Management was rlly no help and claimed they couldn't show us video footage. Wouldn't rent here!

Found a 10 x 10 unit on the website for a decent price. Went in to the office and found out that (1) the unit requires an app run from a smartphone to open the lock. Another unit with a standard lock is over $100 more than the price seen on the website. It sure smells like bait and switch to me. Will not use. There are better choices.

Today after the comment that you see on my review I called the 888-storage number because supposedly will love to help me with my case. Called and Jane took the message and reopen my case after 2 calls and 2 messages Patty the District MANAGER called me back. She was really rude and sarcastic, I told her about how they can help me with my case and she answered we are not responsible for any of your belongings look at the contract that you signed, and it's fine if you want to go to small claims. Stay away from this RAT INFESTED place. My stuff was ruined and I only had it here for about 4 months in between moves. I didn't have any food items stored in my things. When I was moving out I noticed droppings every where. Then as I was digging deeper and deeper there was one nest after another in bags of clothing, blankets and my couch. Everything was trashed. There's a reason why this storage unit only has 1 1/2 stars. Do not waste your money or time here. I repeat, do not waste your time with this place.

Awful privacy settings. I receive monthly emails from this Extra Storage regarding an upcoming due date and thank payment emails for one of their customers there. I have never held a unit there before or know the individual. I have called and emailed them on several occasions to inform them of the mistake, to which they promise to fix but within a few weeks I get a new email.
