I have been a customer of Extra Space Storage for 4 years until a week ago. They are constantly raising their rates. My current rental rate went from $76 a month to $110. That's an increase of over $34 per month. I don't mind of an increase of a few dollars but these rent increases are ridiculous. They try to tell you it's increased market value for your unit but actually it is price gouging, in my opinion. What they're hoping for is that folks will just pay the increases because people are reluctant to move all their stuff ... read more
