Extraspace is much more expensive than other storage companies in Kingston and they raised the rent from $296 to $373 after three months. Prior to moving out they told me on the phone that they would pro-rate the last month's rent for the days I didn't use the unit, but then denied ever saying so, and declined to do it. Additionally, they charge extra for insurance and for the lock, and my things were covered in dust when I removed them. I also found a tick on top of one of my items. This place is the biggest joke ever I never want to do business with them ever again they are ridiculous and nobody should get a unit with them! They don’t work with you
They auctioned off our belongings after being late 67 days. I received one phone call 17 minutes before the auction. No email, nothing.
