There are definitely rats and bugs, not to mention the state of the occupied units around mine being filled with food and other detritus that promotes that.
Terrible customer service and absolute abuse of trust by the managers at this location. They are completely unfair, took my money, and flat out refuse to return it, making up every excuse possible. They do not care about customers at all. Be very careful before renting here; look for other options if you don't want to lose your money. Totally dishonest!"

I have been renting a storage unit from an Extra Space Storage location for 6 months now. I was given a promotional rate of $129 for the first 6 months, and told verbally that once the rate ended I would be charged $179 a month after that. That is also about the rate that the Extra Space website currently lists as the non-promotional rate for my unit. Instead the corporate office for Extra Space raised my rate to $229. If they refuse to honor their agreements they should not be receiving business
Zero stars would be more appropriate. I was just at my storage unit in ********* and the second I got out of the you can just smell the mold in the air its damp. My furniture is ruined and not replaceable as it is from the 70s. The upkeep is terrible. One of the garage doors is broken with a note saying you have to hold the button up. Enter back into the building hold the button down to close the door. Its been there for at least 2 to 3 weeks. The lawn landscape is completely overgrown. I originally rented through life storage they were bought out by extra space storage I believe I've been with them over 10 years. in 2023 I had two units that they increased the price by $75 for each unit without notifying me first I called to complain. Each year since 2023 it has gone up $100 last year it went up in November again by $100 however this time they chose to increase the price halfway through the year and charge me another additional $80. SUE THEM - READ CAREFULLY....Make sure you READ the full contract with this company. Each location is privately owned. They all have 'different rules.' If they auctioned your things - make SURE they did what 'they were supposed to do' otherwise - sue them, and get your funds back. Don't let this filthy company use scare tactics with you.
Review of Extra Space Storage *********************************************** two major incidents within the first few weeks of renting this facility, I feel obligated to warn other customers.The most recent incident occurred today. The freight lift, which has been unreliable since I rented the unit, failed completely. Previously, the only way to make it move was for someone to physically hold the door while it ascended. This location manager is ****** ?All ****************** routed right back to this location NEVER CORPORATE ?There are no district managers, as they claim ?No one returns your calls ?They overcharge & increase rent without notice ?They lie about everything ?They closed restroom hours.
