Only been with them since March of this year and it's already going down hill I was paying $107 with no promo or deal and the rate went up $96 didn't get no notification regarding my rent going up. Paying the rate now is not worth a 5x10 storage and storage it's self is clean but I have been seeing bugs and what it looks like they might have a termite problem
"I one time gave Extra Space Storage a five star review three years ago in Watsonville (Freedom Ca), but three years ago was a whole different story. The manager was super nice and always helpful, very courteous and kind. The new assistant to the manager is rude and unprofessional. I left a message at your 800 number - a district manager needs to call me directly to resolve this issue. I am back in CA to get my stuff and the thought of going to the location is traumatizing. It's NOT a safe place. I am outside on the phone with extra space because I am having anxiety about going in. Juan us working and he was 'in charge' the day of the event. This place is horrible! The guy at the desk is the rudest guy ever! I went to get a price and he had closed early. I tried asking what time they opened tomorrow bcuz I had paid 10 dollars online to reserve a unit and he kept telling me he was closed. He talked over me and waved his hand in the air shooing me away. My refund was supposed to be in the mail.... 3 months ago. Go to store more america... That place is great! They let u borrow their moving truck and make sure your happy.
Avoid this place at all costs. The manager is a petty tyrant who loves to make little rules that just so unfortunately impede what you are trying to do. I paid a new setup fee at another facility just so I would not have to talk to him.
