When I closed my life as a home owner, I had to put most of my furniture in storage. (From 5 bedrooms to 2) I chose Extra Space Storage. They were close, clean, weather proof. 6 years later, still storing with them. Nice friendly people to do business with. I rate them 4 stars.

Clean and temperate storage. Office is onsite and has convenient hours. Staff is helpful and polite to work with. Jim was very helpful saving me money on my storage space.

The best part of this facility is Andrea, the manager, who has gone way beyond the call of duty helping me out as outside crises kept happening while my things were in storage and interfered with my sotring and moving plans. She always immediately got back to me and figured out a way to address issues, even if it meant extra work for her that wasn't anything she was required to do. Moving and being in between homes is stressful enough. She made the whole thing much easier.

The manager was very helpful both in setting up the storage unit (helping through the stress of unrelated issues with my movers) and immediately coming to the rescue when injuries undid all my plans and even ability to get to my unit. They are very kind in difficult and stressful times, which is a welcome way of doing business.

We are leaving Extra Storage for a couple of reasons. First, our rent doubled from $80 to $160 over the past few months. That seems too high for a facility that is falling apart. The elevator in the front hasn't worked in weeks and won't be fixed for quite a while. On the other hand, the employees are terrific. They are super nice and helpful.

So I called about a month and a half ago to secure space for our 5th wheel for the summer season. Nothing was available at the time but Kim took my info. She called back a few weeks later saying a spot had opened up and I was the first one on her call list! Kim was amazing in her communication and her demeanor. Kim at Extra Space in Salisbury is THE ONE to emulate if you are learning about customer service and management! Moving is stressful - her attitude, efforts and knowledge eased the entire situation. She goes above and beyond! I highly recommend.
