It's a storage facility which should be basic but they did just enough to leave me unsatisfied. The person at the desk who filled out my paperwork was pleasant and helpful but he was the only one there and had to juggle multiple people. And the electronic paperwork was complicated and unclear and took WAY TOO LONG to go through. So it took at least 1/2 hour just to process the rental paperwork. They have a HUGE sign in front of their office stating "FIRST MONTH FREE " with little letters on the bottom stating "see manager for details". When I inquired about the offer, the manager stated that the offer was only given when they had a surplus ( ? how many) of units available and it would not be given to me at this time. TAKE THE SIGN DOWN UNTIL A TIME COMES WHEN YOU CAN GIVE THE OFFER ! What a deceiving way to get customers in the door and a SLEEZY way to do business !

Poor management that does not follow the same policies as their corporate office. The units are very dated and have stuff falling from the ceiling. Forget about accessing your stuff during the winter. The alleys are all ice and snow is piled up against the doors.
If you're looking for safe, secure, clean, inexpensive storage.... this is NOT the place for you!!! I just got out of an 8 year storage merry-go-round with these people - thank GOD! Mice... tons and tons of mice... a few I ended up bringing to my home in boxes unbeknownst to me! Mice turds everywhere...nests, you name it. I was going to wait until I had finished moving my stuff out of my storage bay, but oh well. Extra Space has managed to repeatedly irk me already, and I only began dealing with them nine days ago! I reserved my bay and rate online, which seemed like a smart idea. Maybe it still is, but I would likely have never known if I had just shown up on Day 1 without a reservation.
